How to guide on configuring different types of display cards. You can also reference Displays Cards in Semarchy xDM Developer’s Guide.
Create a step-by-step guide:
Navigate to App Builder
Select the entity that you would like to update the display card.
Highlight and right click on Display Card
Define New Display Card Name and Select Next
Under Primary Text Expression, select edit expression
You can select multiple attributes to display by concatenating attributes.
Save the Display Form
Navigate to forms
Under form open the form you would like to modify.
Select the label and at the bottom of the screen you should see a properties tab.
Under properties navigate to the display properties and update the display card.
Once saved. In the UI, you should see the new display card with both the Label and ID displayed.
Create the display card.
Navigate to forms
Under form open the form object
Select the FDN attribute you will add to the form.
Drag and drop the FDN attribute and then navigate to the properties tab below.
Select Display Properties
Under Display Properties select the … to add a Display Card
You should see a list of display cards that are available for this form.
Repeat steps 1-8 to add additional display cards.
Once app builder is saved, you can navigate to the UI and see the four display cards created in the form.
Create a new collection. You can use the Semarchy xDM Developer’s Guide
Once the new collection is created. You can add the new collection to a new business view.
Right Click Business View and select add new Business View.
Create a new name and select next
Select Browsing Form
Select Transitions
Select Finish
Navigate to Transitions and highlight.
Under Properties - Display Properties select the Browsing Collection.
Save the new Business View
Navigate to the Applications to display the new Business View in the UI
Navigate the application and expand the window
Open Folders and Actions
Add a new Action
w Action
Name the new action and select next
Select the previously created business view
Provide a label and finish
Save the new action and refresh UI.
