Using the Reverse Helper when Creating File Metadata in DI

This will take you step-by-step to easily and quickly create file metadata in DI using the reverse helper.

It's easiest to start by getting your meta to look like this in excel.

Then select all the cells for a single column and copy that to your clipboard.

Open the reverse screen in the file wizard and select "Helper"

The helper screen is not intuitive. You cannot edit anything by hand. You also can not copy or paste in a conventional manor. The only way I could figure out how to use this screen is with your column names still in the clipboard, click on "Name" at the top of the column. You should end up with something like this (I suppose this made sense to some DI engineer).

Do the same for your size and type. That is all you need. Make sure you are copying and pasting the same number of rows for each column, Name, Size and Type. If you mess it up, you cannot add one cell or delete one cell and all three columns must be filled in for all rows. Worst case scenario is to clear it and start over. You should end up with something like this and hit ok.

Now on the reverse screen, you can just hit reverse.

And you should be good to go.
